Tips for Maximizing Your Financial Aid

A successful transition to the University includes financial planning. To receive the most student aid possible, you should file the 2014-15 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after January 1st. Be sure to list the University of Iowa school code of 001892 on the FAFSA.

Find Your Focus is a program available to open majors and students who are unsure about a declared major choice.  Through a series of appointments, Career Advisors will lead you in activities that will allow you to define and reflect upon your interests to help you choose a major.  In addition, you will learn how to best utilize resources available to you to explore majors and occupations.
